Seasons
Green Season
March – May
This is Tanzania’s “secret season.” As the rains sweep across the land, the dry earth transforms into a rich, vibrant green. Flowers bloom. Migratory birds arrive in dazzling numbers. The landscapes feel more alive, more cinematic.
Mid-Season
June – October
This is the classic safari season. The skies are blue, the days are sunny, and wildlife congregates around waterholes, making game-viewing both easier and more dramatic. The Great Migration is in full swing during these months, particularly in the northern Serengeti around July–August.
High Season
Short Dry Season | December – February
This is the time when the Southern Serengeti becomes the stage for one of nature’s most touching spectacles—the wildebeest calving season. Thousands of newborns are born on the open plains, attracting predators and creating powerful wildlife moments.
