Sky Afro Adventure

About Us

Who we are

Founded in 2022 by Amani Hassani – a professional and passionate local safari guide and tour operator who grew up in Tanzania, Sky Afro Adventure was never meant to follow the typical safari pathway. Our team is best at planning safaris and tours that feel genuine – built from the ground, not copied from a script.

Our team at Sky Afro adventure has spent years exploring Tanzania: by road, water, and air, and we craft each safari with that same spirit of exploration and curiosity. Our promise is that, you won’t find rehearsed programs or padded itineraries. Instead, we will take you straight to the places that matter most to you: places where the African savanna comes alive with wildlife, colors, and the stories haven’t been polished for show. This is travel that keeps you involved. You’ll walk, drive, sail, fly – not just to tick your must-visit destinations, but to see more, feel more, and leave with great memories that will last a lifetime. And yes, you’ll be comfortable, but never disconnected. That’s the balance we care most about.

Our Team

Behind every trip with Sky Afro Adventure is a team of dedicated professionals who know Tanzania intimately. We are a locally-rooted company, and every member of our team, from operations staff to field guides, was born and raised in Tanzania. Each of these individuals carries a deep respect for the land, the culture, and the people, and we bring that into every safari we help organize. And because we live here, we not only understand where you’re going, we understand what it takes to help you feel safe and fully immersed in the beauty of Tanzania.

Our strength lies in experience, but also in attitude. Professional, warm, and consistently present when it matters. We pay attention to the smallest details: the pace of a journey, your comfort, and everything in between that shape your entire experience.

Safari Guides

Our safari guides are true professionals. Each of them is fully licensed and trained in wildlife behavior, conservation knowledge, and vehicle safety. They’ve spent years observing the land, reading tracks, and understanding how the seasons affect the animal behavior to help you make the most of your safari.

Most of our guides have been in the industry for over a decade, and that kind of field experience can’t be fast-tracked. It’s what allows them to anticipate wildlife movement, position vehicles respectfully, and enrich your safari with stories and insight that come from real encounters, other than from text books. They know how to hold a conversation when it’s needed, and when to allow the silence of the wild to speak for itself.

Mountain Guides

Trekking Tanzania’s mountains is no small feat, and we believe that the people leading you up there should be among the best. Our mountain guides are certified Wilderness First Responders (WFR), trained to handle medical situations in remote, high-altitude environments. But their role goes far beyond that.

These are individuals who’ve summited the Mount Kilimanjaro dozens, even hundreds, of times. They’ve guided trekkers through altitude challenges, changing weather, and mental fatigue. They understand what it takes to get someone to the Roof of Africa, and more importantly, how to bring them back down safely. Their decisions are informed, measured, and always grounded in your well-being.

From the first steps through the rainforest to that final push on the summit day, they walk beside you, not in front of you, checking in, encouraging, and adjusting the pace when needed. And when the trek is over, they’re often the ones guests remember most, not just for their leadership, but for their humanity.

Our Safari Vehicles

When you travel with Sky Afro Adventure, the safari itself matters just as much as the destination. This is why we’ve invested in a fleet of reliable, rugged 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers. They are built and maintained for African terrain and fitted for long hours in the wilderness. They’re simply part of the experience.

Special Features

Most of our safari vehicles are extended-body models, roomier, sturdier, and specifically adapted to offer more comfort and better visibility on long drives through different national parks. They come with large windows and pop-up roof to allow for uninterrupted views, and are ideal for photography, wildlife observation, and the quiet moments that help you make the most of your safari.

Inside, each vehicle is equipped with dual-voltage power outlets (110V and 220V), so your devices stay charged throughout the day. A compact cooler to keep water, refreshments, and light snacks chilled. This is especially helpful during midday game drives or warm afternoons while in transits. Ample storage in the rear compartment allows you to bring everything you need without compromising legroom or comfort inside.

These details may seem insignificant, but they add up, making your time on the road or out in the wild smoother, more flexible, and far more entertaining.
